Mill Creek YMCA: Date Night!

Do you need a night away from the kids? Drop them off at the Mill Creek YMCA on the first Friday of the month from 6:00 p.m. - 9:30 p.m. The YMCA will provide dinner and an evening of games, crafts, gym and Adventure Zone play time. And you'll get a whole 3 1/2 hours of freedom! Yippee!

Cost: Members - $20 for first child, $5 each additional child. Non-members - $25 for first child, $5 each additional sibling.

Snohomish County YMCAs: 5 Visit Guest Pass and No Joining Fees in January

Is your New Year's Resolution to get back into shape or get the kids involved in some new activities? Well, here's your chance!

Head to the Snohomish County YMCA website and sign up to get a free Guest Pass for 5 visits. Then print out those passes and take your kids to Tot Time at the Mukilteo YMCA or Play Time at the Mill Creek YMCA. Or take a break from the kids and try out a group fitness class or do a little cardio on the treadmill.

If you give the YMCA a try and you end up loving it you can join this month (January) and your joining fees will be waived. I am a huge fan of the YMCA. The older my kids get, the more I love it. We're getting involved in their Preschool classes, swim lessons and play time. And of course there's always the free Child Watch and Adventure Zone for those days I need to sweat away my frustrations.

If you've already discovered all the fun the YMCA has to offer, share this with your friends. When they join you'll get a workout buddy and refund of one month of membership.

Mukilteo YMCA: Music Workshop and Instrument "Zoo" December 28th

Bring your kids to the Mukilteo YMCA for a unique and fun music workshop. Enjoy musical demonstrations by  the Kamiak High School Music Department and experiment and learn about different musical instruments -- including percussion, woodwinds, string, and brass. And learn about taking volunteer-taught lessons for specific instruments.

Snohomish County YMCAs: 5 Visit Guest Pass and No Joining Fees in October

I realize that the end of October is tomorrow but this is a great deal if you'd like to join the YMCA or you want to check it out and see what it's all about. (It's all about good, by the way. Good for you and the kids!)

Head to their website to get a Guest Pass for 5 visits. Even if you're not interested in joining for yourself, get the free passes and take your kids to Tot Time. Free fun? Yes, please! We went to the Mukilteo Tot Time last week and the kids had a great time. Check out the schedules at the YMCA near you for other times/locations.

They are also waiving their joining fees this month. Just bring in your membership application to any of the Snohomish County YMCA's by tomorrow to get in on the deal.
